Do you have an old stool, chair or ottoman that needs some new life breathing into it? Bring it to Lesley Leonard’s Upholstery Weekend workshop. Here you will learn how to upholster an item of your choice. Lesley will provide all the equipment for the weekend all you will need to bring is the finishing fabric.

Materials Required

Bring on the day one of the following

• A chair or stool with a drop in or drop on seat
•  A bedroom/occasional chair or stool with a pin cushion seat.
• A stuff-over chair without springs (if you have basic upholster experience)
• An ottoman.

Upholster Lesley Leonard will provide all tools needed and base material. You will need to bring top fabric to finish your new furnished piece with.

Please wear sensible closed toe shoes.

Additional Information

Lunch is not included in the cost of the workshop, however our licensed Ropery Coffee Shop offers a delicious range of daily specials and freshly made cakes and refreshments. Lunch orders will be taken at the start of the day or alternatively you may bring a packed lunch.

All Classes / workshops must be booked and paid for in full in advance. Payments will not be refunded if a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the workshop/class. Cancellations made before this 14-day period will be due a refund less the £5 booking fee.
