The Annual Barton Upon Humber Remembrance Day Parade and Service is to take place on Sunday 13 November 2022. The Town Council has made application and has been granted to temporarily close a section of Queen Street to High Street; High Street to Burgate; Burgate to Whitecross Street; Whitecross Street to Barrow Road (A1077) to Falkland Way, Barton-upon-Humber, to road traffic between 10.30 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. to facilitate the Remembrance Day Parade/Service.
The Remembrance Day Parade will take the following route:
Proceeding from The Assembly Rooms located on Queen Street at 10.30 a.m. onto the High Street (between Queen Street and Burgate), Burgate, Whitecross Street (between Beck Hill and Barrow Road junction) and Barrow Road to the Cenotaph for 11.00 a.m. Then, the reverse route back concluding at 11.30 a.m.
