Performance in the Park is Back!
This enchanting tale follows the fortunes and adventures of Roberta, Peter and Phyllis after they move from London to a house near a railway line in the country. Roberta reads an old newspaper and discovers where their father really is and all the children take part in an adventure of a lifetime.
Barton Tourism Partnership is delighted to be able to offer a full summer programme of family shows in Baysgarth Park. Funded by Barton Town Council and Barton Lions the shows take place in front of Baysgarth House Museum during July and August starting at 2pm.* Bring a chair or a rug a picnic and a friend, just turn up and choose your spot on the grass and enjoy the show. Although the shows are free, donations are always welcome as it helps us increase the number of shows we can put on. If you live locally think before you drive, can you walk to the park and help reduce our carbon footprint. Parking is limited to disabled parking in the Museum car park but there is plenty of on road parking on Brigg Road and up at the Baysgarth Hub.
Hidden History tells of Barton upon Humber's fascinating history through a collection of media including original and authentic photographs, video clips, narration and text.
