The group’s 2024 programme begins with a presentation by David Gibson on”The History and Development of the Avro Lancaster”.  

Last year, David’s presentation (in May) coincided with the 80th anniversary of Operation Chastise (the Dambusters’ raid), which involved 617 Squadron of the RAF, 133 aircrew and 19 Lancaster bombers.
