The Ropewalk is a regionally-acclaimed centre for the arts, attracting more than 100,000 visitors every year and housing galleries, a Sculpture Garden, Museum and the Ropery Coffee Shop. At the northern end of this Grade II-listed building, the longest Grade II-listed building in the country, is Ropery Hall – a venue for live music, theatre, comedy, cinema and corporate meetings. Other facilities at The Ropewalk include a printmaking workshop; artists’ studios; office space for creative industries, and meeting rooms available for outside lets.
The Ropewalk is on one level with good wheelchair access; we are a 5-minute walk from the Barton Transport Interchange, with regular buses to Hull and Scunthorpe, and a 2-hourly rail service to Grimsby and the wider rail network.
