Picnic in the Park – Sunday, August 2
Barton Town Council organised Picnic in the Park takes place in Baysgarth Park on Sunday, August 2 from 12 noon until 4pm.
Entertainment will include demonstrations from dance schools and entertainment from Nutty Norman and Mr Shiney.
Children’s races, organized by Barton Athletics Club and sponsored by the Co-op on Market Lane, will begin at 2.15pm,
Barton Town Community Band will be playing during the afternoon and the children’s art charity ST-ART will be holding a craft workshop and Barton Lions catering caravan will be on site.
New Life Church will also be in attendance and Barton’s Children’s Centre will have Active Tots session, Bookstart Corner and book swap.
