Barton Civic Society hosts Catherine Fordham who shares Susanna Wesley’s life story providing a stable home and education for her children at Epworth Rectory. Her husband, Samuel, was Rector of Epworth from 1697, and during his absences Susanna led groups of local people in instruction.
