The President of Barton Civic Society, John French MBE, was born in the town and he has had a great passion for its rich heritage since an early age.  In this talk he recounts the successes and disappointments of a lifetime’s work trying to protect and promote the best of Barton.

The talk on Friday, May 17, takes place in the Joseph Wright Hall on Queen Street and begins at 7.30pm.  Admission for members is free and for non-members just £2.
