Insight Open Studios celebrates talent of local artists

Insight, the open studio event celebrating the artistic talents of North and North East Lincolnshire, opens this weekend (September 16 and 17) and continues next weekend (September 23 and 24).

Over these two weekends artists from Grimsby to the Isle of Axholme will open their doors to the public, making themselves available to explain and demonstrate the processes involved in developing their work. There will be the opportunity to view and perhaps purchase or commission original paintings, prints, textiles, sculpture, jewellery and glass. This is the 17th year that Insight has run promoting Northern Lincolnshire’s visual arts and craft practitioners.

All studios and galleries, unless otherwise marked, will be open 10.30am to 5pm on each day. For further details contact the individual artists, galleries or telephone 01652 660380.

For more details go to http://www.insightopenstudios.org.uk/ for  details of the 38 artists and galleries that are taking part. Not all artists have easily accessible studios and so some will be showing their work at other sites.
