Following a very successful play as part of the Barton Arts Festival in July last year, Doncaster Concert Band once again make the short trip along the motorway to  take part in this season’s free Performance in the Park.

The band will be playing from 2pm on Sunday, July 17, outside Baysgarth House in the beautiful setting of Baysgarth Park and will be performing a varied programme of summer classics.

The band was formed more than 20 years ago and since then has performed regularly at outdoor venues and concert halls, mostly around Doncaster.  Players in the band come from  all walks of life and it strives to be a community band, fulfilling its original aim of providing ongoing musical experience for people who have left school.

The band performs a variety of music to suit all occasions.
