New exhibition opens at The Ropewalk

Opening on Saturday in the Artspace is an exhibition showcasing new work by Lindy Norton.

Lindy has always been able to use drawing as a means of generating atmosphere. urposefully developed and well practiced observation skills enable her to subtly change the truth of light and darkness, to amplify uncertainties.

Her paintings in both water colour and oil are just as accomplished as her drawing and prints and her use of light, subject matter and her selected range of colours amplify surreal associations.

The exhibition runs until Sunday, June 12.  The Ropewalk is open Mondays to Saturdays between 10am and 5pm and on Sundays and Bank Holidays between 10am and 4pm.  Admission is free
