More about: Snake Davis, Johnny Thirkell & Mark Cressell at Ropery Hall

Snake is joined on the Ropery Hall stage by Mark Creswell and Johnny Thirkell. Mark, on guitar, is sure to delight the audience with a sublime mixture of soul, jazz, blues and folk. Mark is the Clint Eastwood of rhythm guitar. His chordal contortions have provided a treacherous platform for Mark Knopfler, Ray Davies and Tanita Tikaram. John Thirkell , one of Britain’s top trumpet and flugelhorn players, has played on literally hundreds of pop, rock, and jazz recordings and has also appeared on 22 Number One records. He was on at least one album in the UK charts continuously, without a break, for more than 13 years and in 2009 he had two consecutive UK Number One singles with Pixie Lott.
