The Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology’s Rex Russell Memorial Lecture 2017
In the sixteenth century many Lincolnshire families made their fortunes and rose to prominence on both the local and national scene, with some of the highest positions in court, government, law and the military held by people who were either born in the county or made their homes here. This illustrated lecture by Dr. David Neave, local and architectural historian at University of Hull, will tell their story and that of less prosperous residents through their homes, memorials, inventories and other records.

The talk takes place at the Joseph Wright Hall, Queen Street at 7.30pm. For up to date information visit: www.bartoncivicsociety.co.uk

Admission for Civic Society members is free. Non-members £2.
