Lincolnshire racing driver to play for England in a bid to raise money for charity

Local racing driver Pip Hammond will play in an England vs West Germany charity football match on 24 July to raise funds for the Bobby Moore Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The football match will raise money for charity while paying homage to the famous international clash. All players will wear the classic kit, which will be auctioned after the match to raise further funds for the two worthy causes.

The match will take place at the Euronics Stadium in Barton-Upon-Humber on 24 July at 2pm. Entry is £2 on the gate and all proceeds will go to the chosen charities. Anyone wishing to donate further can do so on the Just Giving page.

The event has been organised by Tom Darwood who has a history of running successful fundraising events, including Katie’s Concert.
