Come and join us at Far Ings to find out what lives in the ponds, meadows, trees and woods. Our aim is to find and record as many different species as possible in 24hours!!!

If you’re interested in all that flies, crawls, swims and wriggles drop in and have a go. Local experts will be on hand to help us identify what wonderful wildlife nature presents to us. Sessions including pond dipping, mini-beast safari’s, bird surveys, make your own curious creature and herbal hoopla. FREE 30 days wild activity pack for every family (while stocks last).

  • Wednesday 1 June from 1pm – 4pm
  • Thursday 2 June from 9am – 1pm

Bat walk,setting live small mammal traps and moth trapping begin at 8pm till 10.30pm on Wednesday 1 June.
