Barton Arts Festival 2015

Barton Arts Festival 2015 begins on Friday (June 26) when Vin Garbutt starts a 10 day arts extravaganza of music, film, comedy, dance and open gardens.

The first weekend sees not only Vin playing at Ropery Hall but also the world famous Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band playing at St Mary’s Church on the Saturday evening and the Amaryllis Consort, at Trinity Church on the Sunday evening, playing a concert programme containing love songs of the period interspersed with poetry and prose from Shakespeare and his contemporaries.

The first weekend also sees Open Gardens raising funds for Lindsey Lodge Hospice, a Ted Lewis presentation at Wilderspin National School and an Acoustic Barnfest at The Old Mill.
