Civic Society’s next talk put back a week until Friday, September 23

The next in the series of talks in Barton upon Humber Civic Society’s 2011 programme has had to be postponed by a week.

Samuel Wilderspin – Enlightened Genius or Dangerous Crank – was due to be delivered by Keith Miller on Friday (September 16) but will now take place at the same time, 7.30pm, and at the same venue, the Wilderspin National School, a week later on Friday, September 23.

The School on Queen Street is the only place in the world where a Wilderspin school building and playground survive and it will be open for those attending the talk to look around from 7pm.

Talks are free for Civic Society members and cost just £1 for non-Civic Society members.
